自1955年公司成立承建国家“一五”计划重点能源工程江西上犹江水电站至今，已承建水利电力工程达数百项之多，总装机容量超过4000万千瓦。作为国内碾压混凝土筑坝技术（RCC）的先行者，公司已成为国内外承建碾压混凝土大坝坝型最全、数量最多的企业之一，具备高寒、高海拔、高纬度及智能化的碾压混凝土筑坝核心技术，承建的国内首座碾压混凝土大坝获得国家科学技术进步奖一等奖。同时，公司深入拓展光伏发电、风力发电等新能源与抽水蓄能电站业务，具备抽水蓄能电站规划、设计、施工、运维全周期管理能力，参建的抽水蓄能电站20余座。
