The "Supplier Day" event was co-hosted by the Ministry of Economy,Tourism,and Sport,the Slovenia Investment Agency, the Automotive Industry Association, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.The director of the Slovenia Investment Agency, Kapur, the chairman of the Automotive Industry Association,Mohorcic,and the chairman of the Slovenia-China Business Council, VaoPotic,attended the event.Chinese automotive companies participating in the event will also visit local automotive parts enterprises and the Port of Koper.

On September 30th,Lin Jian,spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, stated at a regular press conference that in order to further promote personnel exchanges between China and foreign countries, China has decided to expand the scope ofvisa-free countries and implement avisa-free policy for ordinary passport holders from Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, and Slovenia. From October 15th, 2024, to December 31st, 2025, individuals holding ordinary passports from these countries who come to China for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, and transit for no more than 15 days will be eligible for visa-free entry. At the same time, China urges the relevant countries toprovide more visa

9月25日，中国外长王毅在纽约会见斯洛文尼亚副总理兼外交与欧洲事务部长塔尼娅·法永时说到，“我很高兴地告知斯洛文尼亚方面，中国政府决定给予斯洛文尼亚公民免签待遇。”王毅表示，作为中共中央政治局委员，这一举措是conveniences for Chinese personnel.
On September 25th, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Slovenia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs, Tanja Fajon, in New York. Wang Yi said,"I am very pleased toinform the Slovenian side that the Chinese government has decided to grant visa-free treatment to Slovenian citizens."As a member of thePolitical Bureau of theCentral Committeeof the Communist Party of China,Wang Yi noted that this measure is "good news" for the people of both China and Slovenia, as it will greatly promote friendly exchanges between the two countries and deepen their friendship and mutual trust.
Wang Yi also pointed out that Slovenia is an importantmember of theEuropeanUnion.China supports Slovenia's role as the rotating chair of the United Nations Security Council this month and is willing toworkwiththeSlovenian side to implement true multilateralism, uphold the authority of the United Nations and the Security Council, and promote international peace and security.
In response, Fajon expressed her gratitude, calling the visa-free policy a "very positive" measure that will facilitate exchanges between the two peoples and enhanceeconomic and tradecooperationbetweenthe two countries.
Fajon alsostated that as therotatingchair of the Security Council,Slovenia looks forward to maintaining close coordination with China and making efforts to resolve hot issues such as the Ukraine crisis and the conflict in Gaza.
The two sides also exchanged views on the Ukraine crisis and the conflict in Gaza, agreeing that the Security Council should take its due responsibility and play its due role in promoting a political resolution of the relevant issues.

Slovenia currently has approximately 11,000 beekeepers,making it the country with the highest number of beekeepers per capita in Europe. The Slovenian Ethnographic Museum (SEM) possesses the largest collection ofbeehive decorations in the country. In this exhibition in China, the SEM showcases Slovenia's centuries-old beekeeping tradition.The art exhibition not only reflects the culture of beekeeping but alsoillustrates the lifestyle of most Slovenians in the 19th century.
The exhibition is held at the Qujiang Art Museum in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province,where visitors can view 68 beekeeping cultural heritage exhibits, including 60 original beehive panel paintings, until next March. Through these exhibits and related texts, the exhibition introduces the Chinese audience to Slovenia as thehomeland ofthe Carniolanbee.
Natalija Polenec,the director of the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum, Barbara Sosic, the assistant director, and Gregor Kos, the head of the SEM restoration department, attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition.The exhibition showcases Slovenia's unique cultural creativity, presenting the rich cultural heritage of Slovenia to the Chinese audience through these authentic items.The museum is proud to have the largest collection of beekeeping items in Slovenia,with over 770 beehive artworks, and has selected 60 of them for this exhibition.
The original beehive panel artworks depict many religious and secular scenes of daily life, primarily featuring human figures. Additionally, the exhibition features the AZ beehive, which is considered the "national brand" of Slovenia, as over 90% of beekeepers in the country use this type of beehive. Due to its convenience, it is also widely used internationally.
大的蜂箱装饰收藏品，这次斯洛文尼亚民族博物馆在中国展示了斯洛文尼亚几百年的养蜂传统。艺术展览不仅是养蜂文化的体现，更反映出十九世纪大部分斯洛文尼亚人民的生活方式。
